Update: Image Comics has again responded to workers at the publisher announcing their intention to unionize (see below).
In a financial statement issued November 5, the publisher announces:
"Earlier this workweek, the Communication theory Workers of America (CWA) filed a representation petition with the National Labor Relations Board asking to hold a mystery-vote election and then that eligible members of the Image Comics office stave can limit if they wish the CWA to exemplify them in their employment with Ikon. Employees of publishing house Image Comics have begun the process of unionizing, as explained in a series of tweets from the newly organized Humorous Book Workers United, which lays out the employees' clustered goals and demands every bit a unionized.
